How pharmacy fulfillment works

Updated July 18, 2026 · Settings & Configuration

Rx consultations are fulfilled by Qualiphy’s partner pharmacy network. Here’s how pharmacies are assigned, how to check an assignment, and what happens after a provider approves.

The pharmacy list

The plugin syncs the available list from your Qualiphy account — open Qualiphy → Pharmacies and click Sync to refresh it (Deep Sync runs a slower, full re-pull). The page shows when the list was last synced, and each pharmacy shows how many states it covers — including any Excluded States it can’t fulfill in.

Each Rx product has one fulfilling pharmacy

You choose it when importing the product (the wizard asks “Which pharmacy should fulfill this product?”), and orders for that product are always fulfilled by that pharmacy.

Because each pharmacy covers its own set of states, availability can vary by patient location — a product whose pharmacy excludes the patient’s state can’t be fulfilled there.

Checking which pharmacy is assigned

Open the product and check the Qualiphy tab under Product data — it shows the linked exam, Rx type, the assigned Pharmacy, and its Excluded States.

After the provider approves

Once the prescription is filled, the pharmacy ships directly to the patient. Tracking is posted to the WooCommerce order notes and the order completes automatically.

On an older plugin version?

Earlier versions included an automatic “Pharmacy Routing” feature that could reassign an order to a different pharmacy than the one configured. It has been removed — orders now always use the pharmacy set on the product. If you’ve seen orders fulfilled by an unexpected pharmacy, update the plugin to the latest version.

Before going live

Run a Sync, then confirm each Rx product’s pharmacy on its Qualiphy tab.
