How do subscription renewals work?

With WooCommerce Subscriptions installed, each renewal auto-fires a fresh exam invite to the patient. The provider re-evaluates before the next medication cycle ships. Follow-up counts reset on each renewal.

If a renewal consultation is deferred, the plugin also updates the subscription automatically — by default it cancels it, or you can choose "Put Subscription On Hold" in the Subscription Settings instead.
